A quiet shelf
Some conversations unfold through stories.
The books in this collection explore identity, belonging, loneliness, resilience, friendship, purpose, and the search for meaning. Each story is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and discover something about ourselves along the way.
Why I write
Some conversations cannot be taught through workshops alone.
For much of my professional life, I have listened to stories shared by young people, parents, educators, and individuals navigating uncertainty, loss, hope, fear, resilience, and change. Stories allow us to experience another person’s life from the inside. They help us feel less alone, understand perspectives different from our own, and sometimes discover parts of ourselves we had forgotten.
The Two Sides of Fifteen
Fifteen is an age of contradictions: old enough to question the world, young enough to still be discovering who you are. Maya and Noah’s stories explore adolescence, identity, body image, expectations, friendship, emotional struggles, and self-acceptance.
Who is this for?
Teenagers navigating adolescence, parents trying to understand young people, educators, counsellors, youth workers, and anyone who remembers what it felt like to be fifteen.
